CS6 Cutout Silhouettes in Graphics Class
These looked really cool when finished; we tried another version the next day with a famous painting...
Scratch Art Vases and Sunflowers
Tried some oil crayon covered with acrylic paint to see how scratch art would work. Some were very successful, others too thick? High humidity? It was fun to try!
Metal Foil Knights
These were fun--sketch a knight (or princess) and press into heavy foil...rub on/off paint and viola! (or On Guard!)

"Abstract Poppies"
Wish you could of seen the wall were all of these were displayed--every one of them was so colorful and unique! I really like the project--no flat painting--use strokes and dabs of different colors: yellows/oranges/ reds/pinks for outlining the flowers randomly/ many hues of green/ background was white and different blues/teals/violets...and also some torn paper scraps! LOVE THEM ALL! Must take pic of the rest of these...

"Light Through the Forest" Mixing Tints
This was an art example from Pinterest; will post original school when I find the site. 6th graders hadn't much experience mixing paints--we did TINTS with dk orange, blue, green, or violet acrylics...then a wisps of trees in the background with a black tree in the foreground. I will have to take a pic of the wall were they are posted!
